Getting started
What does Track CLE do?+
Track CLE keeps your firm's continuing legal education organized: it records each attorney's CLE credits, tracks the requirements and deadlines for the states they're licensed in, and sends reminders before anything is due. It's a tracking and reminder system — you still report your credits to your state bar.
How do completed CLEs get into Track CLE?+
Three ways: forward the certificate email to your firm's Track CLE inbox address, upload or scan the certificate files, or type them in manually. When you first set up, you can capture the CLEs your attorneys have already completed this reporting cycle the same way.
Do I still report to my state bar?+
Yes. Track CLE isn't affiliated with any bar or licensing authority and doesn't file on your behalf — you submit your credits through your state's portal. Track CLE makes sure you know exactly what you've completed and what's still outstanding when you do.
Compliance & credits
Which states does Track CLE support?+
A growing list of U.S. jurisdictions, each with its own credit requirements, categories, and reporting cycles. Browse the compliance guides for the states we cover in detail.
Browse compliance guidesHow is my compliance status calculated?+
From the CLE records in Track CLE, measured against each jurisdiction's requirements for the current reporting cycle. Because rules change and edge cases exist, always confirm final compliance with your licensing authority before you certify.
A CLE rule or credit total looks wrong. What should I do?+
Tell us. CLE rules are state-specific and occasionally change; report it from the in-app Support form (choose “CLE rule correction”) or email support@trackcle.com, and we'll review and fix it quickly.
How are carryover credits handled?+
Carrying excess credits into the next cycle is entirely state-specific. Track CLE applies each state's rule where we support it; if a carryover doesn't look right for your jurisdiction, let us know.
Certificates & the review queue
How does certificate forwarding work?+
Each firm — and optionally each attorney — gets a unique @inbox.trackcle.com address. Forward a CLE certificate or confirmation email to it and Track CLE reads the details and adds it to your review queue.
Do forwarded certificates count automatically?+
Not until they're reviewed. Items land in a review queue so your staff can confirm the course, credits, and jurisdiction before they count toward compliance.
Billing & plans
What plans are available?+
Solo, Solo+, Team, and Firm — sized by how many attorneys you track. New firms can start with a free, card-free trial.
How do I change or cancel my plan?+
Open Settings → Billing in the app, which opens the Stripe billing portal. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel there; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Read the refund policySecurity & privacy
Who can see our CLE records?+
Records live inside your firm's workspace and are isolated from other firms. Within your firm, access follows roles — administrators and staff see firm-wide data, while an attorney sees their own.
Read the privacy policyAre the documents I forward kept private?+
Forwarded CLE documents can contain sensitive information, so Track CLE stores and processes them only within your firm workspace. See the privacy policy for details.
Track CLE is compliance-tracking software, not legal advice or an official record of your bar standing. Always confirm final CLE compliance with your licensing authority.
